About Vicki F
Singer-songwriter Vicki F began her music career performing in the late 70’s-early 80’s NYC punk rock scene. Her music draws on diverse influences such as Patti Smith, Eddie Vedder, and Lou Reed. Her arrangements are more stripped down than her early music, a mix of folk-alternative and folk-punk, but there is no missing the original fire and punk rock spirit that gave her music breath from the very beginning.
Vicki F is a recording artist on Pilot Light Records, who records her work at Factory Underground Studio in Norwalk, CT with producer Ethan Isaac. Her latest song and music video is called "Put the Critic in the Coffin," which she says is about "bursting into consciousness and freedom... silencing the inner critic and finding joy even if the search requires revolution."
Next Up from Vicki F - a punk rock cover of the classic song "Downtown," originally recorded by Petula Clarke in 1964, coming to Spotify and all major outlets in January 2023!
